I'm excited for my first trip going by myself. I spent days on doing research and planning for the routes. More importantly, I need to get all the documentation ready.
1. Travel document
It is visa-free to entry to Peru for both HKSAR and BNO passport holder. However, for getting into Bolivia, using BNO is better. HKSAR passport holders are required to apply for a travel visa through Bolivian Embassy which is located in Beijing. Unfortunately, due to numbers of illegal entry to the country by Chinese :( its very low chance to get the visa approved. For this reason, I spent $1700 to renew my BNO passport last month.

it took me 4 weeks to receive, which is the standard processing time.
I need to post my HKID for the application. I felt so insecure in these 4 weeks without ID! XDDD
